Nearly thirty years on Avenue J, Jerusalem Steakhouse has never moved, never wavered, and never stopped grilling. Prime kosher meat, Jerusalem soul, Brooklyn home.
Came here with friends from Ireland who wanted some middle Eastern style food and OMG I'm so glad we did. The food was amazingly delicious. As soon as we sat down they brought us a hot fresh from the oven flat bread with so many salads that colored up the table and this was only the beginning.
Was here with my fiancée for a dinner. This isn't the romantic type of restaurant but it definitely rates when it comes to pricing and taste. We ordered extravagantly and enjoyed every dish that we ordered. The portions are so large that we left over about half of what we ordered even after staying.
The decor is a bit outdated, but the food is great! Still a decent value in today's age of ridiculous prices. So glad they finally reopened for lunch after closing during COVID.
